Chris Kauhane aka Kahuna Glass started blowing glass in November 2009 and has worked with artists all around Canada and some in the USA. 
His apprenticeship in Hawaii is the main reason for the inspiration to make his signature Shark-Alien creatures, more commonly known as Scaliens.
